Microfinance Projects

Participation requires basic entrepreneurial skills. You do not need to have worked in business or studied business subjects before, but you should be willing to learn these skills and actively participate in this project by sharing your knowledge and organise production and product distribution with the women microfinance group. You can join us for all types of different handicraft business.

Educational Projects
|
|
|
Participation requires you to have a basic knowledge in a subject area that could be of interest to the women group or to their children; this includes teaching English, teaching business skills, teaching handicraft skills or any other skills you deem useful for the setting up of a small enterprise or for the increase of the literacy rate in Nepal.

Leisure Industry Projects
|
|
|
In collaboration with the Himalayan Environmental and Cultural Awareness Centre we offer special volunteering programs in the Himalayas to either contribute to the lives of the deprived inhabitants of rural Nepal by helping them out in their daily tasks or teaching them specific skills they require, including teaching children English. Alternatively Nature Trail Trekking also runs volunteerships to help keep the ecological system of the Himalayas intact.

Orphanage Project
|
|
|
We offer the possibility to volunteer for the orphanage two of the women are currently managing. Participation is open to anyone who wants to make a contribution to the well-being of the children, usually participants will look after the children, play with them, teach them and participate in daily tasks.
